The Tea Rose Day will light up Sydney’s Rosehill Gardens Racecourse on September 18, as several thrilling races tack to the track to form the Sydney Spring Racing Carnival.
While the $150,000 Group Two Tea Rose Stakes (1500m) grabs the headlines, the $150,000 Group Two Hill Stakes (1900m) is certainly another feature.
As the race rolls around Ladbrokes.com.au will be the place to go for the best odds, as the weight for age event draws in the punters.
One horse likely to fight for the honours will be the Doncaster Handicap winner Triple Honour.
Trained by Chris Waller, the Honours List gelding finished second in the Warwick Stakes (1400m) over the weekend, and will prove strong over the longer distance.
After running in the 2010 Hill Stakes, the seven-year-old will journey down to Melbourne for the bigger spring features, with the ultimate target being the 2010 Caulfield Cup.
Also taking place at Rosehill on Tea Rose Day will be the 2010 Tea Rose Stakes, and the 2010 Shannon Stakes.
