The 2013 Hill Stakes will take place under weight-for-age conditions and is open to horses aged three-years old and upwards.

Scheduled to run as part of George Main Stakes Day, the race shares its program with the Group 1 George Main Stakes, Group 2 Tea Rose Stakes, Group 2 The Shorts, Group 3 Bill Ritchie Handicap and Listed Heritage Stakes.

Less Is More is being aimed at the 2013 Hill Stakes this spring after beginning his preparation in the Listed Winter Challenge last start.

The Beat Hollow gelding finished fifth of ten runners in the $100,000 race and will look to improve his form going into the 2013 Hill Stakes.

Less Is More has won four of his 18 race starts and has earned more than $140,000 in prize money during his horse racing career.

The five-year-old originally hails from France, where he had his first ten race starts before moving to the stables of David Vandyke at Warwick Farm Racecourse in early 2012.

Less Is More has won just one race since arriving in Australia, claiming victory in the $50,000 Channel Seven Handicap at Eagle Farm Racecourse on May 11, 2013.

He then went on to place second to Precedence in the Group 3 Premier’s Cup at Doomben later that month.
