Nominations Released – Hill Stakes 2013

Nominations have been announced for the Group 2 Hill Stakes, which is set to run at Royal Randwick Racecourse this Saturday September 21, 2013.

A total of 16 horses have nominated for the 2013 Hill Stakes, including Kelinni.

Kelinni has won nine of his 27 race starts and has earned more than $935,000 in prize money during his horse racing career.

The five-year-old will be third-up for the spring in the 2013 Hill Stakes and will be looking to better his last start result of seventh in the Group 2 Chelsmford Stakes.

Also included in the 2013 Hill Stakes nominations is Glancadam Gold.

Glencadam Gold has won six of his 17 race starts and has earned more than $577,000 in prize money during his horse racing career.

The Refuse To Bend gelding placed eighth in the Chelmsford Stakes and will be out to go seven places better in the 2013 Hill Stakes this weekend.

Glencadam Gold is trained by Gai Waterhouse at Royal Randwick Racecourse and will have the home track advantage in the 2013 Hill Stakes.

The stayer is nominated for the Caulfield Cup, Cox Plate and Melbourne Cup later in the spring racing carnival.

Beaten Up and Hawkspur are also included in the 2013 Hill Stakes nominations.
